I know why they did this.

I cancelled my line there last trip.

They said in their executive meetings that if I'm not going to come anymore, close down the golf course.

 

When Wynn/WGC opened, the clock already was ticking. Packer is spot on that there is something great about roll-out golf. Danny had it, too, on some green space in a sea of asphalt and towers.

 

I can't think of anywhere more relaxing where I can read a book in Vegas lol. I bet you know who at the country club will give me info if she saw me.

 

Who goes to Vegas to read a book?

 

Sometimes my wife does. We'll get there and she just unwinds -- room service, cue up movies that were missed, sleep, spa, repeat. She loved doing that when she was getting her MBA and still does given the day-to-day demands of her job. Now granted that seems a bit antithetical to "Vegas," but we can't always just pop on over to Hawaii or up to Whistler or Banff.

 

There is only so much slot playing and drinking to do when one goes to Vegas alone. The country club is where I usually go from noon-2ish when I'm in Vegas on a weekday

I'm still here! The practice area is still there too and we were under a temporary green on number 2 until this last week. The greens were hit with a disease this last fall and we have been working hard to get them completely back. They are doing better each week. nothing to do with any construction or anything like that. You will enjoy it don't worry. When do you arrive to town?

 

Only if the book is in braille, if you know what I mean. lol
