Great TR. I really miss that place. You've got to get to grand Lisboa and go to the basement to check out the racetrack. Good going on the claw back and continued good fortune.

Also as Nate said watch your back there esp since you're not Chinese (my assumption). I've seen Caucasians targeted for robberies and pick pocketing there.

LOL. No upfront comp. Didn't even try. I actually booked my room via Chinese tour operator CTRIP via Tripadvisor. The rate was around US$275/night. I wanted the experience of staying in one of the newer large, better rated hotel/casinos here since I will likely not make it back this way anytime soon.

If I make it over near Wynn Palace I will get some photos. If you go to MacauTripping.com and in Twitter to @hunter .... He and/or his two traveling companions, Chuck and John, we're just here two weeks ago and they got a couple exterior photos.

I'll watch my back. Thanks for the tip. The casinos here are like those swanky casinos in Los Angeles like Hollywood Park in that they let bystanders place bets behind yours to play on your hand. I was fine with that until I got on a run to work my way up to the table max of HK$15k and with the extra bets it was over table max. So one of the people riding the coat tails had to stop betting and the other guy bet $1k and I bet $14k to stay at the max limit. I don't let anyone take my splits or doubles.

The other observation I had for the blackjack here, especially at Galaxy, is when they pay a player on a win, and before they will scoop the cards and pay the next player, they want you to pull your bet and winnings out of the betting circle. They will actually get impatient for you to pull the chips back each time before they scoop the cards.

The other thing I've noticed with the huge crowds of table spectators is that sometimes there is a huge crowd watching a table only because they see others watching. I go and look and no one is betting big at the table and there isn't a huge winning streak or anything like that. I can't figure out what is attracting the crowds of onlookers.

Thanks VBJ. I'm not sure I would recommend it yet as a destination, but if you are in HK it's a must. That flight to HK was a butt-kicker. Just over 16 hours non-stop.
