I'm not much of a gambler, so I'll state that right up front... I don't need a "fix", though I have no problems with those who do... it's just not me. I've lived here in northern Nevada for 33+ years. I go in and out of casinos often for various civic functions, shows, etc. and rarely play, unless I'm entertaining friends or clients from out of the area and then it's kinda expected in being a good host.

I feel completely different in Las Vegas. Even coming out of Reno, there's an "electricity" on the plane going into Vegas that's exciting. When in town, I like to take care of my business meetings in the daytime, but then partake in the Vegas nightlife (including gambling), to a reasonable extent, in the evenings. Las Vegas is a very different animal.

 

It is weird but the only place I gamble is either in Las Vegas or on a cruise ship. I live in Maryland there are several local casinos but I'm not interested. I want the whole Vegas experience and I won't get that at the local casino.

3. I must say Pechanga's food is pretty good. But as far as atmosphere, ambience, environment and the whole experience, NOWHERE NEAR AS GOOD.

So, if you love Vegas and every where else is nowhere as good then Vegas. Since you are a little burned out with vegas then find another hobby! At least til December.. Drones perhaps?
