    Charlestown is horrible....

I hate MD Live....if I'm going to play somewhere I want to get some kind of "credit" for doing so ya know.

Horseshoe isn't horrible but MGM will be the closest to my house and I can get there in under an hour....which I really like :)

I love Vegas. I don't have much interest in my local. There are junkets to Atlantic City where a plane is brought in, you're flown in for 2 or 3 days and back home again. AC has a totally different feel. I don't play the same as I do in Vegas. Vegas is a 5 hour flight going, but IT IS pretty much my local.

Our nearest casino is Chumash. We go by it all the time when we head out wining or to Santa Ynez for dinner or when I'm off to play Rancho San Marcos. Apparently it has a "AAA Four Diamond" hotel. I don't need to tithe; Custer died for our sins.

The only good thing is on Fridays and Saturdays Winstar Buffet actually has king crab legs but they are not split so it is a real pain in the ass to eat as you have to crack them open.

OKC is just a little too far so if I do drive that far I'll go to Shreveport.

Winstar is a little over an hour drive. Shreveport is almost 3 hours away. I have been to New Orleans and Biloxi so both are good but think for a quick fix it is ok to gamble quickly but for fun I think VEGAS is the place.

The first time I went to MD Live, they refused to let me in the casino with the freshly bought Starbuck Venti I had in my hand. I chugged as much as I could and dropped the rest in the trash. Left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't go back.

If you've ever been to the Horseshoe, it's hard to find any table action on the main floor. All the tables are spilling over with people ready to jump on an open spot. Especially with the craps tables. I really don't judge people, but you can tell some of the people in there are using food stamp money and shouldn't be gambling at all. They look sad and depressed and make me feel uncomfortable. I've seen fights in the casino too. I just don't have a good feeling being there. But the food is decent :).

I've been to horseshoe more than MD live and I'll goto Arundel Mills more than MD live.....

Well you are judging becAuse well never mind yes you are exactly right...you see some hobo homeless looking fucks in there..:;Its hard to get any action and honestly it's gotten ghetto from the last time I was there. I've been to all the casinos in Detroit and it seems it's not like they there...
With MGM being built in PG I hope it doesn't happen there! I hope the rift raft stays out........

I just meant it gets depressing in there seeing these people that look homeless with crumpled money looking sad. I'm sure if it wasn't so damn pervasive throughout the casino it wouldn't be an issue. I feel like I should be handing my money to the people walking around the casino rather than playing with it.

I've seen that at the tables in Shreveport and Winstar where the person is turning change to a few bucks so he or she can play a hand or two.

I fell like giving them the money vs playing at the tables.

I did that at Circus Circus a long time ago. I was picking up my little brother who was playing at the arcade/midway since he was not 21 and I played a few hands and won some black chips. As I was going to the midway I gave a few people that looked like they really need it the black chips that I won.
That place is so depressing (Circus Circus) I don't go back. I heard the steakhouse there was really good but if I have to walk thru that casino I'll go someplace else.
