Elvis Presley - Night Life -- a very Vegas song.

Oh the neons are a gleamin' and the gamblers are a dreamin'
Oh it's night life, yeh! night life
The chips are a spillin' and it's time to make a killin'
Oh it's night life, yeh! night life
Oh the pockets are a-burnin' and the money flies
With dice roll a-turnin' and you'll hit snakes eyes
You can't be a quitter when you're caught up in the glitter of
    Night life night life
There're long legged women who will take you for a trimmin' yes it's night life
    Oh night life
Their lips taste like honey but they're out to spend your money
Yes it's night life. Oh yeh

"How You Like Me Now" by The Heavy
"Shot at the Night" by The Killers

"Jump Around" by House of Pain but maybe my soundtrack likes to get a little more violent than you would like...

Will you walk down the Strip at all? Are you willing to put speakers in the pockets of a satin jacket? Then you definitely need to add "Staying Alive" by the Bee Gees. It does require the foot to be a bit more turned out with each step but I'd think about sex all night if I saw a guy with the right stride and this tune in my head.

Of course, I am also thinking about sex when I hear Jump Around so...

Love the topic! And added a few to my playlist.

All I have to add to the party list is: Great Big Sea; Consequence Free (live) - a Canuck band - you might like it!

And pretty much my motto in general.

This is a great one. I actually think it is more Vegas-like in its lyrics than Viva Las Vegas.

I've got about 80 songs in usual rotation on my Vegas playlist. A couple that are super Vegas-like:

    Casino Queen by Wilco
People Get Really Drunk in Las Vegas by Size 14

There's also anything by The Killers, who I think are just the quintessential Vegas band. They really internalize the place in their music. And while overall it's not a total Vegas song -- or maybe it is -- All These Things That I've Done has maybe the best Vegas line ever: "last call for sin." I put that on every final morning in Vegas. Look back over all these things that I've done for the weekend and remind myself, hey, last call for sin, buddy.

This is a good song ANY time. So is, in particular, the live version of Back in Black from AC/DC Live.
