I try to do less overeating than I used to. Not due to diet or figure-watching, its just less fun if you feel like crap after. I still tuck in a good breakfast/brunch binge, but I take it a bit easier on the dinners.

Overdrinking is a matter of perspective. I am pretty good at pacing myself, so I tend to drink a lot, but with only a couple notable exceptions don't all out binge.

YES! It's one of the main reasons I love Vegas.

I get up super early and play awhile after having my coffee in the room.
Love to play early, early. Most of my peeps don't get up as early.
When everyone else gets up - we usually go for a large breakfast - eat
and visit, sometimes for along time LOL.
We have been politely asked to leave both Bacchanal and Paris after
spending more than a few hours in there yakking and catching up with each other
in between courses. Normally we don't stay that long, but a few of us only see
each other once a year - so we tend to run on and eat a bit, run on some more, and eat
a bit more. So yes - during those marathon catch up sessions I supposed we do overeat.

Don't usually do lunch at all or maybe a light snack, then have a nice
dinner somewhere. Try at least once - maybe more - each trip to do one really nice
dinner as a treat. Don't overeat dinner, but sometimes do spend more than normally
would on a nice treat meal.

I usually plan on eating at different places and never get to them. When i'm in Vegas, its just eat when absolutely necessary. I don't do that intentionally, but i get sidetracked. I do over-drink though. Since drinking is an all day thing, i get pretty messed up in vegas.

Overdrinking starts the moment I set foot into the hotel as I usually get a beer for the check-in line. Never have time to eat much as I am too busy drinking. Nothing kills a good buzz faster than a big meal.

Yeah, in Vegas I eat like I'm going to the chair. Normally coffee shop/ cafe for breakfast and nice sit down for dinner. I try to hit steakhouses 4-5 nights of the week, intertwined with sushi, noodles or the random hot n juicy crawfish or in n out stop.

I'm with Nevyn on this one. Too much food and I'm not looking or feeling too good.

One thing consistent about my trips to Vegas is drinking. Consistently the entire trip. As far as eating, depends who's on the trip with me. If I'm solo, I often go the entire day without even thinking about eating. But if I'm with some of my wife's side of the family, I tend to eat a lot (they prioritize their day around meals/eating.)
The FIRST thing I do when I arrive is buy a Fat Tuesday 190 Octane (before check-in.) Beer all day and into the night.
I try to stay away from the liquor- usually doesn't end well.

My trip last April was a “Goodbye to Food” Tour as my wife and I started a new diet upon return home (one of those where you get three shakes and two boxed meals per day) so for those six days we ate like we’d never seen food before.

The worst, surprisingly was at Lago by Julian Serrano. They focus on small plates, and so my wife and I had a variety of things. My third item was a plate of

…. Six hockey pucks from Hell that attached to my stomach and bowels like spackle. The first two were fine, but the portion was too rich for one person (and my wife turned up her nose at them). However, being the cheap Midwesterner that I am, I ate the last four (I mean, I paid for them, dammit) then ordered one more thing.

I wasn’t in any way hungry for one last thing, but I’d be damned if that horrid dish was my last memory of the meal.

And the gnocchi stuck with me for quite a while.

    -------------------------------

Most of the time, though, I don’t think I overeat… rather I eat what I want, when I want. Chicken Fried Steak with Country Throw-up Gravy at Eat for breakfast? Then Deep Fried Oreos at Mermaids (RIP) an hour later? Sure. Two American Coney Dogs for lunch? Yep. A big hunk of cow at Andiamo’s or Redwood Grille for dinner? Certainly. Finally a slice of P izza Rock (or Pop-Up P izza) or some Oxtail Stew for the 4th Meal? I’ll take it.

Repeat that for a couple of days, then sit next to a certain someone on an airplane for the ride home!

One thing I’ve never done is drink too much in Las Vegas. Besides the fact that I always rent a car and drive everywhere in the valley, I also want to keep my brain for playing poker, blackjack or craps. I’ll have a couple of drinks here and there, but I’ll let all y’alls have the booze that I don’t drink.

Well....I'm no longer physically able to "overeat". However, in Vegas, with some of the best restaurants in the country at your feet, I do like to eat well. Several small, great meals throughout the day, with a 4 or 5 star dinner. Hell, I'll take the leftovers, and have another meal or two! Having said that....

I start drinking on the flight to Vegas..regardless of the time of day. And I lighten up on the flight home. Sort of. Lots of Vodka and Chardonnay!!!!

This was me a year and a half ago....
