I hit diamond via diamond in a day a few years ago but since then I havent even hit platinum. I usually go once a year. That said, I've always had plenty of room offers with free play/etc so the only thing I'm missing is the no resort fees business. I don't usually hit the 4 hours/day, but play higher than my BR suggests I should ($1000/day, but will play between $50-200/hand). Often times that results in very short sessions but higher average ratings.

I was pearl in 2014 at Mlife, Platinum at TR in 2014, Diamond in 2015, 2016 and I'm just short of diamond status for all of 2017. Before 2014 I was more of a casual gambler as opposed to know where it's much more serious. Having a job that pays well has a lot to do with that. With that said, I can't see myself ever getting to 7 star unless I got a Total Rewards casino closer to me. Closest one is 4 hours and I've still yet to go. Couldn't imagine hitting 7 star in the 2-3 Vegas trips I take a year. Diamond is no problem now though

CET platinum for last 5 years and MLife gold was true highest I've got.

For me being a low rolling video poker guy I gotta do CET. Even Beeejay who played $2 VP for hours at Aria every trip can't get a room off video poker, but can get suites from Cosmo or Venetian with free play on same play.

I wish mlife would let play VP at Bellagio, MGM and Aria but give me a free room at Monte Carlo, but alas I don't see that happening, if it did I would switch it up

No doubt there, but at least they're finally doing some renovations. I mean I'd take Linq or jubilee in ballys over Luxor and Excalibur. High end wise if you compare the two companies Caesars Palace is truly out matched. Especially for you guys! Their high limit room is open to a major corridor. Sure higher limits in the back, but look at say the mansion casino or baccarat area at Bellagio etc. Much better set up IMO even bough I will never be able to afford to play in any of them lol

Diamond, had it for 2 years, then gave it up, found that the benefits of it weren't really doing much for me, and not high enough level of diamond to see any real impact on my standard offers and such. Platinum with CET is barely useful in Vegas (only because of a few line jumping options) absolutely worthless elsewhere. Plat had some value when they were removing resort fees if you had that status.

Interesting.. I am a "lowly" CET player. 7*, mainly because of bonus TR. Caught up in the racket and have to keep focusing my play to keep free of resort fees etc. As I am a lower slot player, I get a lot of bang for my buck with CET. I only qualify for a comp ROOMS so the Laurel Collection at CP is probably the largest, nicest I would get anywhere else. Also usually get FP and all RFB off at backend minus tips.

But, I am thinking to try to get on the Radar at Cosmo during my next trip. How much coin thru on single session do you think it would take to get an offer from Cosmo and how much are the resort fees over there and what does it take to get rid of the resort fees?

I know the resort fees are $30 a night. The last trip I had at Cosmo I lost about $3500 and since then I've gotten two nights free Sun-Thurs or $200 resort credit each night if I book Friday or Saturday.

I did just get an offer for three free nights and an entry into their slot tournament which I booked. They also waived the resort fees for me.

Personally, for the low level roller I think CET has a lot more to offer than MLife. After one visit I was getting free comped rooms for any CET property for upto a week (not including resort fees). That made it much more tempting for me to come back frequently originally, since I've seen the light and prefer the quality of the Cosmo (and play enough to get it comped) but for the new starter / low roller I think they aren't bad.

In terms of rooms, I prefer PH Hip to Caesars basic , steered clear of Flamingo et. al. I have stayed for a stag do at the Linq and the rooms aren't bad, it's just the hotel that's shite.
