I have been to about 6 of them and they cater to the businesses. The one in north ATL has a ton of corporate memberships. Many of the local business, including some higher end sales people have bought memberships. We find it is a better place to have meetings as it gets prospects and customer out of their offices. A little more social than just lunch but not really a night time activity (replacing strip clubs in a lot of places). This is probably why it was packed mid week / mid afternoon. The one locally seems less busy on the weekend but maybe that is just my perspective.

Let's remember, it is not golf. Yes, it is a driving range but it's not really that even, it's about the games and party atmosphere, not grinding over six buckets of pills. It's entertainment. It should do very well there.

Quite interesting. I looked it up and found out there are a couple here in Chicago. Has great reviews. Might have to go see what all the fuss is about before the Vegas one opens.

I love Top Golf - as Danny O mentioned Houston has them and the one here is always packed.

If marketed properly by MGM they should always be busy. It's a great concept and one I wish I would've come up with or invested early in!

The Vegas experience seems like it'll be much more which is how Vegas should be done anyways.

I'll probably go there on trips with my buddies. Drinking, good apps and golf? Sold.

i agree to a point but rember vegas is empty alot of times. weekdays and its a limited target audince. and im sure it wont be cheap so that will knock out alot of people.

will they do price surge during special event weekends and stuff like that, its alot for a place to make it just on guys on golf and be open almost 19 hours a day.

ive seen the place its hug the over head just in a/c will be a fortune.. it will be good in the beging but after that i bet i dies off , wont compete with the day clubs and other things .and wont really go over with the girls so it more of a male targeted crowd. eventuanty people find other things to do.

i bet i does better in the cold weather when u cant get to the golf course.

It is unlikely that significant numbers of players planning to play Paiute who decide it is too cold to play Paiute are going to run over to TG for their golf fix.

I can see the part about having fun, getting in some golf, without having to lug clubs, etc. You go play for an hour or two have a few drinks, maybe some pool or another game. I know a lot of people that will do that during the day.

I don't see the whole swimming pool, club thing taking off.

    Good points Pp.

I'll be curious too. The conventioneers and foreign folks will probably help in in the slow times. It really is a cool thing to do and even at inflated Vegas prices it's better than getting smoked at the tables (if you need a break from that).
