December is a great time to go. Done it once, and it was spectacular. Quiet and ideal.

 

Pretty sure I'm there right after the rodeo ends for a week. Usually the last trip for 4-5 months then come May it all ramps back up again.

 

GGWU is usually around the first week of December
at Caesar's so that is when we go. We always try and coordinate
around that in December and then sometimes go back the 26th-31st.
Love Vegas in December. Like to spend actual Christmas with Mom - but
then - off to Vegas again we usually go! Head back home for actual New Year's.

When we can - we sometimes do November too, but always December.

 

December is nice as it is slow then. Weather can be a bit nasty for golf that time of the year, but we went last year for the week between Christmas and New Year's and enjoyed it as it was quiet and not as hectic in the casino

 

We will be there 12/25 to 12/31.

 

MSS??

 

We are booked Dec 9-12 for the Duke / UNLV CBB game at T-Mobile. Staying at Aria. The rodeo is still going on that weekend as it is "Championship Weekend"

 

Plan is 3 nights at Sam's Town, then 3 nights at MSS.

glad you're back. I wasn't a member of VMB but I viewed it often.. I followed your posts (and others) for years and I stayed at MSS 3 times because of your expertise and recommendation.
Early last year I was at the Boar's Head bar and I mentioned "Joe from Wisconsin" to the pretty and friendly woman who was tending bar. Her face lite up and she smiled and she said she knows Joe and his wife and she said she always likes it when you visit...

Joe, yes there are Vanderbilt's ,, Rothchild's,, and Rockerfeller high scale people here on this board. But there are also regular guys and gals who worked hard all their lives in the middle class who enjoy tapping into experiences and insightful educating Vegas perspectives such as you bring.

 

Middle class guy here who prefers Four Seasons to Motel 6.
