Lol. Lucky you! I don't think I'll be able to vote at all in November. Unless a miracle happens in the remaining GOP primaries, I won't be able to stomach either candidate.

A clusterfuck indeed. But if Trump's actions would be consistent with his rhetoric, he'd be a fan of this bill, not an opponent.

If the Republic somehow doesn't crumble after this particularly idiotic go around, we might finally get something transformational. Party's morph, usually quite drastically, and it is overdue chronologically if our history is any indication. We might not end up with a viable third party -- which of course would really fuck up the Electoral College if we did, and likely pave the way for the dirty unwashed to decide, a.k.a. states through their House delegations -- but one of the two might look very different.
