I only go to Vegas once or twice a year, so I've always wired in front money. Doesn't seem to be worth setting up CLs for a couples of times per year. I also like knowing I have a hard loss limit.

When I've done the LOC apps, they were only interested in checking accounts.

cool - I think I'll set one up.

I'll ask them for an application this trip and send it in when I'm back so hopefully I have it established for the summer trip.

That's also why I prefer mostly front money. I get a bonus as well as it is a form of money management. You are not going to wire more than you are willing to lose. The credit line that goes with front money becomes tilt money.

I always take cash. Usually $5-8k, so easily transported, no need to wire. Credit scares me. One thing that I have noticed is that I am tense carrying around that much on the trip down because I usually only carry a couple of hundred in cash. By the end of the trip, usually 3 nights, even on winning trips, I have relaxed.

My preference is coinstar. Actually, I'm in the LOC camp.

Tulalip casino here in Seattle area has a coinstar machine in the corner between the cage and the self serve soda machine. Maybe when I fill the 5 gallon water bottle I will take it there and exchange it. :D

Cash, somewhere between $4K - $8K, usually near the higher side. Keep most of it in the safe and only walk around with a portion per day. Changing from poker room to VP, BJ and others I'm still learning a lot of games so I'm keeping the BR pretty reasonable right now. Hopefully one day, it expands and I'll need to worry about whether or not wires or a LOC is an option.

For now though I'm just feeling my way around.
