We have a lot of fun on this board, and there is a lot of sarcasm and joking around ... but life gets serious sometimes, and I, for one, sincerely hope that this trip for you and your wife, DRPinVa, becomes an annual "fuck cancer" celebration for many years to come. Embrace it and have a blast!

I passed along this message to someone privately the other night but I'll repeat it... I posted this original message one night after I had had perhaps one more drink than I should have - I don't think I would have made the post otherwise. I immediately thought "oh shit, this isn't the place to write that, I need to delete it"....but let me just say in hindsight, I'm so glad I left it. One thing you quickly learn when you begin this journey, is how terribly many others have and are facing the same.
