Congrats on the remission!
@Gaggles had stage 4 cancer and almost died. The end of May gong show we always have was originally his birthday trip after being in remission. I remember some of the early year tests, when we were still paying to stay at places like Frontier or IP and Gaggles getting test results right before he went. Has to be 10-12 years now and the trip continues as does his remission. I hope for the same for your wife. So good luck in Vegas and from the oncologist!

 

Yes it is a sad time with MM over. But that was a game for the ages. My wife and I sat here and watched the game and usually you do not get a game like that for the finals. Now we have a 6 month count down until next season starts (thus the name). For now I will make the NBA work. Thanks for asking and here's to a few Jackpots on your trip.

Having a loved one remain in remission is such wonderful news ... my ex-wife was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma 16 1/2 years ago while she was pregnant; she had to undergo three rounds of chemo and two rounds of radiation therapy during her pregnancy.

The way it was explained to us was horrific - the chemotherapy consisted of a toxic cocktail of drugs that specifically targeted fast growing cells, which is what a cancer is; the problem was that they did not know what effect the chemicals would have on a fetus that was growing in her womb ... We were told to expect the worst in terms of trying to carry the baby to full term.

However, miracles of miracles she has remained in remission and my daughter, who will be 16 this year survived those three rounds of chemo unscathed while in utero! There have been no residual effects of the chemo therapy.

I hope that your wife remains in remission; I'm sure that you guys will enjoy your time together in Vegas!
