Getting back to tipping; just had an interesting conversation with my host.

There was a loss discrepancy this time and they tracked it down to 30k in tips over two weeks at the tables. The discrepancy cost me 3k (10% discount) so the host was advising me not to tip so much to the dealers. Since my tipping to the dealers mostly consists of putting them on the tie bet in baccarat (I bet it a lot) for a quarter and hardways and yo's on craps for a quarter, it doesn't seem a lot to me. But since they count the wins not how much you put up, over the course of the trip 20 yo's add up to 8k, 80 ties add up to 16k etc...

So now I'm going to change to tipping a couple hundred at the end of the session. Prime example of how casino policy screws their own employees...

I tip my host 500-1k on a losing trip, 3k-10k on a winning one. Just also found out today that I thought the host team shared tips and they didn't...bastards...

 

Also the host used an example of another player that lost 5m and tipped 200k, also cost him 40k in loss discount...

 

even though your finaiclly succesful at any point do you consdier the amount you tipped to be ridiclous for the jobs these people do

 

Yes that's why I'm reevaluating
