If I go to brunch I will get a Mimosa. If I just start gambling I start right where I left off. Coors Light.

I'm a fan of mimosas and a bloody, but my two go-tos are the French 75 and, as I posted on one of the drinks threads, the Corpse Reviver No. 2. Invented as a hangover cure, I cannot emphasize just how good this perfect cocktail is at pulling you out of hairy-tongued, foggy headed oblivion and back into cool buzz territory, making you ready to take on Vegas for another day without skipping a beat.

    Gladly!

It's all equal parts, but I use one ounce because I find that makes a nice serving. Shaken and then served up in a martini or tulip glass. I like homemade maraschino cherries as the garnish, but you could use a lemon twist:

1 oz. gin (I like Hendricks or Plymouth)
    1 oz. Lillet Blanc
    1 oz. Cointreau
    1 oz. lemon juice
3-5 drops of Absinthe or Pastis (I just use a kid's medicine dropper because I'm too cheap to buy a cocktail one)

Shake on ice. Serve. You win!

I highly recommend it. But if you don't like it at first? Have a second one. :cocktail:

I go with extra spicy Bloody Mary. We once dared the cocktail waitress to make it as spicy as possible. She brings it out and thinks she is going to knock our socks off. We say "not bad, good try". She couldn't believe it, so for Round 2, she actually brought out a SPICY bloody mary that actually got our attention!!

I don't think my guts could take spicy the next morning after a good night. In fact I ask for mild bloody mary's.

Actually it's a pretty well known drink. Any real bartender (i.e. not some hot "bartender") would probably either know how to make it or how to quickly look up the recipe.
