Interesting discussion and seems like a very consistent result. I'm a few months removed from a really solid year of play at a nice cross-section of properties, and it seems the adjustments to comp offerings for the previous play have taken effect.

The net result is that I'm pretty much done with MGM. I have no clue what their theory is, except it must be that comps don't motivate play. I gave them significant sessions on roulette, craps, VP. I pretty much play the same stupid shit everywhere, and I am at a loss to explain MGM's offerings.

Cosmo, Wynn, have been consistent for years basically offering me free rooms, nothing more. Maybe $100 freeplay. I'm fine with that for the play I give them. Gave Palazzo more play the past couple trips and they are chiming in with slightly better 3-4 night tournament offers with $300 table play. I consider all those reasonable enough offers for my relatively low play.

MGM on the other hand is offering $79 Sun-Thurs at Aria & Bellagio.

    WTF is that?

I actually consider them the worst of the properties I'm playing at (banned from all CET nationwide) so I guess its a non-issue....but I do like to pop into Bellagio/Aria/Etc on our strip crawls.

Oh well......I've got a funny feeling Borat and I will be seeing a lot more St. Maarten than Vegas going forward. It''s got so "offerings" that are much better, at a fraction the cost--and LEGAL!!!

Hey Beejay how did you get banned from CET properties if you want? If not then nevermind.

    Speaking of competition.
Maybe, hopefully, Alon will come to fruition and fill a big need.
    One can hope anyway.

Shares down just over 6% today. Q4 loss nearly doubles. Going to need a lot more cutting.

Think he self excluded from a local cet and thought it was just for that casino but it ended up being for all casinos nationwide.

I thought it was the online casino since its legal to gamble online in New Jersey? And it ended up also applying to brick and mortar.
