I did indeed get fisted - straight up slaughter in the hoops. I used up all my good basketball bets on Thursday and Friday.

So I had to cut the trip short. While getting ready for the drunken degen fest with BS my aunt called and said my sister had been in an accident.

She's only 16 and was on the way to my aunts house after she finished work. Some dude blew a red light and t-boned her on the passenger side.

As bad as it sounded then I can say that it isn't too awful. She got hit on the passenger side and the impact was about 30mph so while it spooked her and she did have minor injuries as it stands now all is as good as can be.

Our mother is traveling for a work conference type thing in London so being that I'm also her guardian I needed to get my butt home.

She has a concussion and while they thought he collarbone and ribs may have been broken they turned out to be bruised. She has a nice bruise from shoulder to bottom of rib cage from slamming into the drivers door.

The police believe the driver who hit her was probably impaired.

Originally I was going to go Vegas-Chicago-Newark-Philly but was able to land a Vegas-Newark-Philly flight. I was prepared to spend $2k on the ticket since I was changing my itin but surprisingly it was "only" (lol) $1200ish. Thank goodness I was able to bank $8500 from Vegas!

So anyways she's going to be fine. My mom doesn't need to cancel her trip and I'm here to hang out with her for a couple days and make sure all stays well.

Despite having to bolt I was able to have one helluva trip. March Madness is everything I hoped it would be.

I got to see my friends from other parts of the country. Hang out and watch basketball for hours and gamble and drink like it was my job.

    My next trip? June.

The host at Palazzo will take care of that one. Hopefully get a cabana and continue the gambling run good.

I will be playing bacc more often. I had a great time with it. Other than the one craps session at Palazzo every table I went to killed me. In trips past I would have continued playing but now I'll bounce to other games.

I didn't get much time at Mirage but they did tier match me to Pearl from the offer that I was there on from the local casino in Louisiana.

The place is still sentimental to me because it was our first stay but the rooms are definitely in need of some refreshing.

It seemed smokier than I remember it. Even when not crowded it kinda hung in the air. Didn't care for that.

The $400 FP I had was turned into $300 on some $5 three line machine.

I'm sure I'll post a full recap later in the week and add tidbits of shit I remember over the days.

Thanks for following along. I'm already ready to go back!

    Hey Rocky,

So sorry to hear about your sister. The only upshot is that you had to cut your trip short on your last day. You still had a great trip and banked a win! Good for you!!

Thanks newmans! Yeah it sucked because I wanted to hang with BS, Boosted, Jer and others but there will be time for that this summer!

I was thinking that on the plane - even though I had to split a day early it was a great trip.

After so many losing ones it's nice to have back to back winners!

Great trip and win. The baccarat run was epic and inspiring. Sorry about your sister but awesome for her she has an older brother like you. What area in or around Philly was the accident?
    Safe travels.
