Salmon tonight, guess that means ... Pinot.

Get out! Pinot at our place?!?

Actually it is rose season and we just happen to have some Liquid Farms and Hilliard Bruce chilled down.

What kind of salmon? And what with it, besides the Pinot of course?

Sockeye. We typically do small fillets on a cast griddle on the grill. (Cedar plank for a whole fillet.) Skin down, no fuss, just takes a few minutes. We each went to the farm stand yesterday w/o knowing it so had (my) artichokes and (Terri's) broccoli. Herb-infused jasmine rice.

P.S. You have any Copper River this year? We only had it once.

    Love it, Filth.

Just opened a 2011 Alma Rosa La Encantada Pinot and a 2013 Brewer-Clifton SRH Chardonnay.
