    Was an overnighter. Back Thursday for the tourney. In short quickly up 2500 and finished down 500. Had a great time but quite angry with myself for not booking a win.

    Barolo was kind of young Stevie. Was it drinking now? Long decant?
    Probably a contrast in body to the Bordeaux?

    Yah, Barolo was drinking fine. Was smooth, but felt light in contrast to French. I got talked into Barolo by their wine guy. He self reported that he was partial to Italian reds as his last job was at fine Italian dining place (too buzzed to remember name). Next time I'm there (maybe this weekend) I'll see if they have a Malbec. Might be better value.
