Vegas can up one's intake. Luckily I do have my Irish genes.
Beer during the day, premium tequilla at night, good wine at dinner.

Can't believe I missed this thread. I drink during all waking hours in vegas, mornings, are usually gatorade or Fuse mixed with some rum, mix in a couple bailey's and coffees, usually by 11 switching to makers on the rocks, throughout the day. Mojitos, old Fashions, and any other decent cocktail I can get with rum or bourbon are also fair game. I drink a ton of water in Vegas, usually start the morning, by drinking 2-3 bottles, and then ensure throughout the day I keep rotating them in. In addition, I tend to take a bit more in vitamins during a trip, Fuse is nice as they make a pina colada flavor that goes perfect with rum and is a nice sized 16oz bottle. And it has a couple other vitamins with it. Great start to day.

Morning is usually just coffee for me. Gotta give the mind and body a chance to wake up and see what's going on for the day. If we do some early gambling, I'll usually get a Jameson and Coffee or a lighter beer (usually something Mexican w/ a lime or an Amstel). Mid-day is always going to be beer. I don't know how you guys do the mid-day wine. I'd be asleep so fast. Night-time is either Knob Creek / Makers on the rocks or jack and coke, unless I'm already twisted (or playing VP at TAG), then it's just beer.

I usually do a spicy bloody in the morning whether I am hung over or not.

Then there's that awkward time when I'm not sure if it's too late for a bloody or too early for a Margarita.

My go to drink during day or night is a Don Julio 1942 Margarita.

When I'm playing it's hot green tea and Fiji water. Unless I'm playing craps in which case I will drink depending on how I feel.

Premium water. We're all morons. As long as you're not drinking from a puddle in a tire at a junk yard its all the same.

There is probably no difference in the quality of water. Given a choice, I'll always ask for a Fiji or Evian instead of the casino branded filtered water.
At home I'll drink filtered water. I can noticeably smell the chlorine in water from the tap.

I use a Brita at home and notice a difference because the tap water sucks here.

When it comes to bottled though I struggle to taste a difference

Call me a snob, I prefer Voss. Although, there is very little doubt that when I usually asking the bartender for water in Vegas I am so drunk, that I doubt I would notice a difference between the Voss and puddle water.

Back to booze, I don't usually drink during the day, I wait until later afternoon when I go back out for the evening, unless I need a "hair of the dog" drink. Otherwise if I start & pause, get tired. I start out with Red Bulls & vodka but you have to stop those a couple hours before sleeping. Also like gin & tonic. Although always have a rum & coke when I first arrive; it's tradition I had with my late traveling buddy.

Will have to get some of the pedialyte powder! I wasn't prepared the first morning of this last trip, ugh.

Spicy Bloody Mary every morning. At this point it feels like a necessity. After that it's typically vodka soda or gin tonic depending on what I'm in the mood for. When I go to Cosmo I'll buy a specialty cocktail at the Chandelier because they're so good. At MGM I will get a cocktail at Whiskey Down. During lunch I'll occasionally order a beer if there is a craft available that I've been wanting to try,

The wife and I will always split a bottle of wine, typically an Italian varietal that I find on the menu for what seems reasonable, and I'll either have Sambuca or Strega with my double espresso. When I'm in play I'll only drink water and/or black coffee depending on how I'm feeling. After dinner I stick to alternating water and gin tonic until it's time to go to the room and either get some sleep or shower up to start again.

Lather, rinse, repeat, go on a 7 day water-only drinking program to flush out the toxins. That program rarely lasts the entire 7 days
