My drinking schedule is pretty consistent in Vegas. Start off the morning with a coffee and baileys just to get a little caffeine into my system. Normally I'll switch to a simple beer like Bud Light for a few hours while we're out and about. Most late afternoons are spent at Bellagio Sportsbar so that's when I start drinking draft. Normally Sam Adams, Guiness, or the Goose Island.

There's also different places where I drink different things. At the poker table it's always gin and tonics unless it's late and I want a pick me up with vodka red bull. There's always a couple of times a trip where I get bored so then I just get the bartenders to make me their own speciality.

    Yep

I'm a Gatorade nut and was reluctant to switch. I still keep my little collapsible cooler with Gatorade in the room but before bed and right when I wake up its Pedialyte

Try IV for hangover and "second wind" anytime I go and plan to rage / play for days I always call hangover heaven and get a b12 shot and the day after get an IV, works way better than pedialyte!

That might have to be a recommendation for the wife! I tried pedialyte last visit and it worked a treat, however my wife can't stand drinks with any element of fizz or sediment so an IV could work but she is a nurse so might oppose!

They are super professional about it and I'm fairly certain they are administered by nurses. It helps me like no amount of pedialyte or Gatorade ever could, and you feel like a new person after lol.

Whisky sours during the day, Irish whiskey on the rocks in the evening, if it's been a good day a nite cap of a good scotch neat. I don't do scotch while gambling, I can't give scotch it's due at the machines/tables!

MGM main floor (near the HL slots) also still serves Fiji, at least as of last October. (And at the craps tables, too, for that matter.) I usually flip a green chip to the cocktail server and she keeps me hydrated.

I . . . strangely don't like to drink while gambling. Every once in a while, I'll play craps with a Jamo-on-the-rocks in my hand, but by and large, I like to gamble sober. Don't know why -- and yes, that defeats the whole point of Vegas. I will drink energy drinks to keep myself awake (and have downed quite a few 5-Hour Energies on Vegas trips), but generally drink *less* in Vegas than in "real life."

If I'm not gambling and I'm out and about, I'll usually treat myself to a nice finger or two of Scotch whisky. Macallan 18 has been my favorite as of late, but it's really whatever strikes my fancy.
