I usually stay away from the fruity drinks... only an occasional mimosa at breakfast.

Usually I drink bud light and then when I'm ready to ramp it up, I add a jack neat on the side. I drink about one bud light per one jack neat and then order another round.

I've been at tables before where I'm drinking water, bud light, and jack neat and have several lined up ready to go.

I'll also do jack and diet or a g&t, but that's not very often I'll do that.

Didn't the city of Cleveland once test Fiji Water against it's municipal supply, and it was rather a funny finding?

Doesn't help me, but doesn't surprise me. They would probably fly to Fiji and take a glass out of the river for you if you asked.

 

It does, and honestly it's not even close. I used to be a believer in Gatorade. Half a bottle before bed and the other half when I woke up. I still managed some pretty horrific hangovers. I don't ever remember having a single hangover if I've drank Pedialyte through the day.

I get that, but I'm saying I'm a low roller. I won't be in the Mansion casino any time soon. A minimum bet there is like an entire session bankroll for me. Gamblers should get anything they want in there.

 

I'm not the kinda person who can enjoy 1 or 2 drinks, so I have to be cautious when I choose to drink. I drink Jack & Cokes, which can produce a pretty mean hangover... something about the darker the booze and the darker the mixer, the worse the hangover. If I have 1 drink, might as well slide the bottle over, cause we're gettin' piss drunk.

Due to having business to tend to in Vegas most days, I choose not to drink in the evening, but will usually drink the night before going home. That makes navigating the security lines at McCarran SOOOO much fun the next day (thanks TSE Pre). I keep Pedialyte powder-tubes in my bag for just such an occasion. It helps, but you drink enough booze... there's no miracle cure.
