9 months....I wish I could stay away that long....

The Vegas craving is eating at me but there are the locals casinos (keeps the degenerate status alive)...LOL

I'm embarrassed to say..........

I'm in Vegas every 4-6 weeks.
I'm a 5 hour flight away.
Vegas is my local.

 

I had something like an 18mo hiatus and it sucked. Booking that welcome back trip made me feel like a Vegas first timer. So much had changed in that short time.

 

The longest I've gone without Vegas since turning 21 was 4 months. Fuck. Here's to willpower Danny.

 

When are you going back? Come play craps with us.

 

Man...that's a long time. Why?

 

I had ankle surgery in August 2011 and then my mom was diagnosed with cancer shortly thereafter so I had to fly home to help take care of her and my kid sister. My work allowed me to work remote from Philly for six weeks but i had to use my vacation time up first. So that and the expenses associated with that shut down fun time spending for awhile.

 

Damn Rocky, sorry to hear that. I have had some crazy unexpected expenses but I always try to make it back to Las Vegas. It's a good escape, and many times I have been there even though I know I shouldn't have been. My MM trip this year is one of those times, but F it. I need the break. The good thing about Las Vegas is it's always there when you need it. It doesn't matter if that's one a week or one every 5 years. I have learned recently that life is very fragile and I might as well have fun while I can. There are no guarantees in life. See you soon! 6 point fire is there, karma guarantees it!

Hell yeah, karma is going to shine favorably on us. We deserve it. Only 8 days until I depart to the mecca - Southern Indiana - Harrahs - Fuck yeah hahaha. I really hope my dad is doing OK. His phone was disconnected which is bullshit.
