If you have a good relationship with your host this isn't uncommon. All hosts can see all players' info and reservations etc. It's not state secrets.

I understand that's all info accessible by any host. But, how would you feel if your information was shared with someone you were not okay with having your information?

May not be a state secret, but there's an expectation of privacy and confidentiality that has to be honored and and not crossed. I'm pretty sure this kind of stuff happens all the time, but that doesn't make it any more right. Companies, large and small, have a privacy policy with respect to what they can and cannot do with your information. Of course, sharing that information among FW employees is ok, but not with a third-party.

Sorry to hear about this issue Kimsa, I hope you are able to resolve this issue to your satisfaction. But curious though, what exactly are you looking to do (if anything) other than putting a stop to this sharing of information? Are you looking to have that other host disciplined somehow for violation company policy or have that player banned or 86'ed if in fact he did what you say he did?

I'm just looking for that type of info sharing fo stop as it relates to John Doe getting info on me.

Not looking to cause any issues with host jobs or John Doe being allowed in Foxwoods.

I'm sure once his host is aware of the issue he will no longer share with his client. Too much danger for him...hosts don't go out on a limb for clients in general...

    And to add to this:

In the past (2011/2012), John Doe has shared that he's had his host look up other people's gambling records. One time he called out a guy who always boasted about slot wins, and came back and posted that his host looked up the guy, and the guy was not as big a player at Foxwoods as he claimed to be.

Sounds like the host is abusing his access with that kind of public sharing.

But a guy asking if someone else is registered for a tourney and the host telling him is commonplace.

I used to bang a host that worked at Mohegan a few years back. So I would hang out with her sometimes while she was on duty. I can remember chatting with her while she was working the check-in desk for the lounge on the 33rd floor. She made it a game for me to guess what everyone who checked in profession was. She would also gossip about her experience with different players and tell me things like their credit line, win/loss, etc..

I did personally ask her to look up a couple people's win/loss for me. She had no problem doing that, as she didn't mind printing me out casino comp vouchers to spend shopping. She was even ballsy enough to come to my hotel room after shift.

Suffice to say, she no longer is employed there. Most likely for something unethical. This behavior is just something that happens when you have ordinary people with no oversight doing this job. Not like they're homeland security agents. I don't agree with it, but only way to fly under the radar is to not use a players card. Have to trade off comps for true privacy.

That's not cool at all. There's all kinds of implications. There could be a jilted ex that's involved in a lawsuit and could use gambling as something against the other as a character defect or to determine if there's money being hidden etc. next to health information, financial privacy is up there.
