(Welcome aboard. And you can type "douchebag" and it won't auto-correct. Hope that doesn't offend you.)

Popped my Vegas cherry at The Budget Suites, affectionately known as "felony flats" on Rancho Drive My visiting friends. Then the Trop, Luxor x 3, MGM x 4, MC, and Bally's. In April, Flamingo, MGM, El Cortez and Mandalay Bay. In September Harrah's and either Cosmo, Vdara or Bellagio.

1st visit was in 2008 - stayed at the Riviera. Are room was so smoky and dirty (NFR was in town and so we didn't get our booked room) that wife started crying. We ended up walking to Strat to gamble until 4am then walked back (in hindsight - top 10 stupidest thing I've done in vegas). Then we slept for an hour in our cloths and on top of sheets.

I've stayed at(from South to North):
    M Resort (multiple)
    Mandalay Bay (twice)
    Orleans
    MGM (multiple)
    Monte Carlo
    Aria
    Bellagio
    Ballys
    Caesars
    Rio
    Flamingo
    Harrahs
    Mirage (multiple)
    Encore
    Riviera

I loved Encore - super quiet. Bellagio high on the list too. Wife loves Mirage. But my favorite is probably the M Resort way off strip. Had my best night in Vegas out there

My favorite is Bally's, love the new Jubilee room. I prefer to stay somewhere kind of quiet so I can enjoy my coffee at the VP bar in the morn and my wine in the eve. I do like to be in walking distance of the party though ie; PH and COSMO.

I feel like I'm missing out on something because my list is:

    Wynn (multiple, including Tower Suites)
    Encore (multiple, including Tower Suites)
Aria (multiple, love the Corner Suite)

Maybe I should low-roll it one trip to accumulate some stories from the non-5 star joints. I don't think the wife would allow it, though. Our May trip is at the Mirage and I think that's as far away from the top hotels as I'll be able to go.

That's why I like Palazzo. Quiet mostly but close enough to the crazy when I want to get into party mode.

Early mornings in Vegas are my favorite times!

    My favorite is Cosmopolitan.

But I've stayed at the following:

    Mgm Grand
    Nyny
    Monte Carlo
    Flamingo
    Linq
    Hooters

Hooters was by far the worst but was necessary due to flying in a night early when that's all a friend could get for his flight.

I think the Linq is one of the best values out there. It's recently renovated and for the money I think it's a great deal. I would recommend it for people either trying to save a few bucks or they're not gambling and don't get comps. Great location too.
