Timmy good to see you here my friend! The Westward Ho was mine and Timchuks first trip ever to Vegas. College buddies drove from Canada in my Sunfire and stayed December 26 - Januray 2 at the Westward Ho. That was just over 10 years ago and now I've got close to 50 trips under my belt

When the Cromwell first opened, I really didn't like it, but every trip it seems to grow on me a little more and I find myself spending more and more time there. It's not a place I'd stay with my buddies, but if I were to bring a lady friend to Vegas, it would definitely be between there and Caesars, as I've yet to stay there as well. It's funny, since I've been Diamond and comp'd CET-wide, I've still kept going back to the Linq despite the "better" options available.

 

I just love little things, like security for the elevators, the cappuccino machine, the bartops although lower odds have great bartenders and my number one thing is the fact I can be from my room to the strip in under 2 minutes. I am staying at the Linq in May for first time, got a deluxe poolside cabana room, really looking forward to that!

 

I like Mandalay Bay. I like that it doesn't get a ton of foot traffic. Its got a nice laid back feel to it.

 

I've stayed at MGM, Luxor, Planet Hollywood/Aladdin, Treasure Island, Wynn, Flamingo, Venetian, Palazzo, Mandalay Bay, Paris, Bally's, CP, and Linq/IP.

My favorite hotel room is probably a tie between Wynn and Palazzo. Wynn employees are a bunch of snooty assholes to people on my level, and Palazzo is overrun with club kids, so my first stay was also my last at each hotel.

These days, the majority of my stays are at Paris. The rooms are dated, but they are quiet. The hotel is in a great location, the diamond lounge is top of the line and the elevators are strategically located by a late night pizza joint, a snack shop and a dim sum restaurant. The casino isn't my favorite, but it gets the job done. They treat me pretty well, and I'm far from a high roller. I spend most of my gambling time in Bally's. They have a pretty good BJ game in their "high limit" area. Also, pro tip. The shitter in the high limit room is perfect for when that late night burrito catches up to you. Clean, private, high class! Easily my favorite shitter in Las Vegas but I've never taken a dump in one of the high end high limit rooms.

 

Encore all the way. Never stayed anywhere else, but visited every property including Downtown and Red Rock. Nothing compares to the feeling, smell, luxury of Encore. Wynn comes close, but I like the quieter mood at Encore.
