My Vegas Pattern: Arrive buzzed. Never allow for full sobriety. Never allow for full intoxication. Be most generous with Day Drinking.

Order trip's last drink upon boarding the return flight. Do not finish that drink.

    Recover on Monday
    Feel Guilty on Tuesday
Start planning repeat trip on Wed.

My approach to drinking in Vegas is best illustrated by this picture

I drink all day, but rarely get drunk unless the trip is longer than 12 hours.

Pretty much sloopy drunk the entire trip. Wake up around 6-7 am and enjoy the empty casino while double fisting screwdrivers or similar. After lunch switch to crown and cokes and go to about 3am. Then repeat.

I drink from the time I wake up til I go to bed, but slow and steady. If on the strip I always try and maintain myself. If downtown...all bets are off! I drink vodka in all varieties and champagne all day in Vegas. At home I drink champagne or wine occasionally. Not often though.

I like when the gf and I drink together in Vegas as we usually help keep each other in check. But then nights where she crashes early I decide it's too close for missiles, switching to guns. Meaning I switch to old fashioneds and or bourbon on the rocks. That's when I go on my amazing gambling runs and end up in the HL room.

I would definitely say my drinking habits have changed. At 21 we used to do shots nonstop and get puking drunk. Then wake up hung over, but just keep drinking.

I tried to drink like that 3 or 4 years ago and barely made it past dinner. I tend to avoid shots, mixing drink and general just keep a steady pace, but don't get wife beating drunk anymore.

I used to also be up til the sun comes up, now I'm lucky to make it 3 or 4, but those late do happen on occasion.

The worst part are the hangovers now. Although I am little more well practiced. If I'm pretty lit up I get food and pound a Gatorade before bed. Wake up with a pedialyte and it helps immensely.

I'm pretty picky about what and how much i drink. I've moved into that "quality over quantity" stage of life, so it may cost a little more but i savor it and feel better the next day

I'm older now so I go quality over quantity.
However, I'm a real downer in Vegas......I do not drink when I gamble.
