After my massage I went up to the room. My phone had finally died. For the first time in 4 Vegas trips. I was about 40 feet from the room, so not much time was lost.

I got into the room and wife was not far behind me. We got massages what I thought was supposed to be a couples massage… Well, no just scheduled at the exact same time. WTF.

We get ready and head down to the Mansion for drinks before the fight. I have my 5th or 6th whiskey sour as I learn we are 6 rows back… Not bad considering there were 10 tickets. @shifter is the king of VIP. We are inside the Mansion and around the corner comes an NFL HOFer? The coolest guy you will meet, swear to god. Laughing carrying on, having a hell of a time. We all do our standard, pose with the celebrity pose… Then he is just one of us. We bust his balls, he busts ours. What a guy!

We grab to-go cups and shifter tells us there are cars waiting out front to take us to the Garden Arena. Sounds crazy right? We are at the MGM already… No, not crazy and super clutch move. We pile into the cars and are on our way after about 39 seconds of driving we arrive. At the back door, the VIP entrance, of course.

We walk down some stairs. See Chuck Liddell in the RED BOTTOM SHOES and we are finally escorted through the tunnel. This is the most VIP part of the whole weekend. Being with CC phones flew up and people began to snap photos everywhere. Wife said someone was waving at me… Celebrity by association? Well, I was not expecting that so I did not wave back so I ruined some celeb fantasy for someone.

Seats were incredible. Mix of high rollers, super fans and celebrities. Two rows up sat Miles Austin. Free booze, minus tip being in the VIP section. It was a one of a kind experience.

After the fights ended we start to head out the VIP entrance. I get close to the door and one guy asks where we are heading. “Mansion” he starts clearing people out of the way… Some of those people would be Ray Allen, Ken Griffey, Jr. and Jason Taylor. They were in awe of CC and started cutting up with him immediately.

Shows the pull shifter has. We were out the door well before those guys were.

Back to MGM in the limo back we invite CC to dinner. He is in! I guess we didn’t scare him off yet.

At Craftsteak I had the A5 Wagyu filet mignon… Holy fuck. WOW. We had some more delicious wine and once again great company.

CC was digging the red jacket so he tried it on…
