Thursday afternoon

 

One of my favorite restaurants in Baton Rouge, The Chimes, puts it in theirs for a crab cakes Benedict. So good. That and a side of blackened alligator is good eatin'.

 

I can see that it would work. But I'll still bust your balls about it. Haha. I'm a purist with my hollandaise. But I don't think I should be. After all, bernaise would be a bastard child then, and that just doesn't make sense!

 

Dang it bayoubengal I'm going to have to try that the next time I'm going thru Baton rouge.

 

If you're going through on a football home game weekend let me know. I'll probably be in town sans a couple of the really weak games. If it's a Alabama, Florida type of match up I'm there. Great selection of beer too. My name is on their wall of fame for beer too. Under an alias of course.

 

sounds good. I was at the Arkansas game last year but went back to New Orleans for dinner.
