I walked in, looked lost, then found everyone standing down by the fountain in the center. Jordan with his wine, Mrs. Jordan with her wine, shifter, Mrs. Shifter, PT, R, TriggerMN and Geotwink. @bayoubengal walked in right behind me, I think he was lost in the maze that is the Mansion Hall. It was great to meet him and his wife! They got some decent tickets to the concert, maybe they were even on stage.

During drinks, my wife should have been landing, and she did.

She had to shower and be ready for dinner at 7… bad news by the time all of this happened it was 6:55. shifter being the gracious host he was, said no big deal we will wait for her.

She finally made it down at 7:35 and I introduced her to everyone. We were escorted to the great dining room where on the wall hung a 15th century tapestry and the largest Lazy Susan in the world, probably.

I went into the butler’s pantry… made another comment about how I could not believe they had the cheap ass oven and microwave… Jordan and shifter were in there with me.

I said I am jonesing to gamble… shifter showed us there was an exit in the pantry and no one could see us sneak out…

We all three hit the door and are on our way to Whiskey Down for some BJ.

We sit down at the $200 min table and I had a $1k chip in my pocket. I search, search, search and search for it… Empty out all of my pockets… It’s FUCKING NOWHERE TO BE FOUND. shifter tells me it’s in my pocket, I was like, bullshit! I had checked every pocket. I was confident I had it in my pocket at dinner so I either lost it in the Villa or in the Mansion dining room.

Everyone else from the dinner was sitting in the Mansion foyer when I came down. They proceeded to ask me where we were… I ignored them and said I lost a $1k chip… Mrs. shifter immediately headed up to the villa to check and see if if was there…

I went into the dining room and had 7 people on staff searching the room high and low. One gentlemen said let me see your coat… I was like it’s not in there but ok.

It was.

It was in a hidden pocket. In my drunken sleep deprived state I had hidden the chip from everyone, including myself.

shifter was right, it was indeed in my pocket, but to my credit not in any of the normal pockets.

I head back to Whiskey and as soon as I arrive shifter was leaving the table…
