I know I don't have a dog in this fight but I would vote for the Skybox at the Sportsbook. I love watching games there. Get the private room but still the feel of everything going on the sportsbook.

 

Yeah it's nice but then you can't get obscene amounts of King crab legs from the Mansion while you're watching!

 

Good point but I have a feeling if you really wanted King Crab legs, you could get the delivered to the Skybox.

As Jordan and I leave MGM we are walking past the poker room. I ask Jordan, you ever played poker in Vegas? He said why would I want to spend 12 hours to make $20? We both chuckled, the funny part was we said it fairly loud and right by the poker tables. As we walked away we hear a loud HEY FUCK YOU! We turned around busted up laughing and walked to NYNY. (I know Poker is +EV, we are just degenerates.)

We head through NYNY and everyone we run into is just as drunk as us. Find a bachelorette party and we then go on a hunt for Jordan Cabernet. NYNY doesn’t have any so we continue on our quest to the Cosmo.

We arrive at Cosmo and I walk through the HL room to see $200 min only. We decided we wanted to play $50 base so we head out to the main floor, just outside the HL. I ask the pit boss after introducing myself, if Steve is working. He points me to the other pit and I go bust his chops for a few minutes.

Pull a marker for $2k and we get started. @deezn00 was at the table, not planned. We ordered some Jordan, they only had Silver Oak, we obliged. When we ordered the J deezn00 spoke up and asked if Jordan was Jordan from the boards… We both smiled at each other and introduced ourselves.

We were both back and forth and the onslaught on Jordan continues. I am stuck about $800 and he is ready to go, I say me too. Let’s see if I can get even. Hit a nice run of cards, pay back the $2k and we ask if we can get breakfast comped at The Henry (Steve would have done it no problem.). He said he would have to call a host. WTF.

Fuck it, we will just go pay for our breakfast.

I got a very mediocre version of the Short Ribs Eggs Benedict. Not sure if I was too sober, it was the fact that the made it for us 15 minutes before they officially started serving it or what. It was not as good as I had previously remembered and that made me sad.

Escalade arrives and we are on our way back to the Sky Lofts. I decided to relax in the room. Ordered the continental breakfast and hand wrote a note requesting that the butler put it on the table like so. $80 breakfast…. Worth the convenience, maybe.
