I agree. Got a small bet with a non gambler at work (Mavs fan).

I said Thunder will sweep, and if they sweep I get $80, but if the Mavs win one game I owe him $10 and $10 for every subsequent win.

 

Bad bet B.S...did you see how the Mavs play lately?

FYI, I personally hate the Mavs but from gambling perspective, that was a bad bet..

 

I'm a Mavs fan and season ticket holder and The Thunder own the Mavs. We get killed by them. I hate it when we match up with OKC in the playoffs. I can't get anything but face value for the tickets since we get killed by them.

I would love the Mavs to win but I just don't see it happening.

 

Thunder > Mavs.

Not sure it's a bad bet... I don't think the Mavs could win more than two games, if they are to win any. Risking $20 to win $80.

Risk vs reward. Also, it's a shit talking bet more or less.

Plus I have 15 season tickets. If I lose the sweep bet l, I'm hedged because of ticket sales.

If the Thunders make to the final, you can easily make $300 per ticket/per game..which is not bad at all..

 

Depending on where the seats are He should make more in the final I made thousands off the Mavs when they made it to the NBA finals
