Does she get annoyed with you talking about Vegas/obsessing over it? Mrs. Ocean does. I try to be good about it, but my boyish enthusiasm for Vegas often gets the best of me.

 

This is so much the case at my house. My wife thinks I'm literally nuts when it comes to Vegas. I bite my tongue many times when I want to talk about it which is always. Pick and choose my battles trying not to burn her out on it.

 

Same here. Think I failed at that last night, but she was very patient with me. The bachelor for the bachelor party I'm planning in July was in town for late-night drinks, and we couldn't help ourselves.

 

I have 3 withing that distance. Soon to be 4. My main one is 15 minutes away. Dangerous! I typically try to hit and run without the wife even knowing I'm there. I may have to start a thread for just my local hits and tilt stories.

Yes, She hates Vegas. Does not understand why I want to go. When she goes all she does is stay in the room and play on the ipad.

So no way I can get her to go and if I keep asking I'm not ever going to get to go.

Ive just shown this thread to my wife, she finds it hilarious as it's very similar to us in terms of talking about it all the time, luckily she enjoys going if not my hours spent rabbiting on about it !

 

I try to stick with that strategy -- not asking -- most of the time.

We need our wives to become BFFs and say, hey, you guys just go to Vegas, we'll have a spa day in Texas.
