Is spontaneous travel "degen"? I just see it as a great opportunity embraced. Back when we could easily drive to Vegas, many a time we were sitting around bored on some holiday morn or weekend, and just said 'fuck it, we're going.' And it's not just Vegas -- catch a flight to the PNW, cruise over to Scottsdale or up to The City. Our coolest coolest coolest by far spontaneous moment was our second time to New Zealand. A killer price popped up on TravelZoo or Sherman's or wherever and in a matter of days we were getting off a plane in Auckland.

 

That is definitely a Travel Degen. I like it.

 

But costs twice as much!

I think it would be less embarrassing and they would get less disputes if all movie pricing was standard.
