Last weekend I was playing craps and after a point was set while everyone was placing their bets, I would play a quick hand of blackjack at the table that was next to the craps table. I got some odd looks from the pit bosses. Does that count?

 

That counts. I do the same with roulette while I'm playing craps. When things are slow I'll go drop a green on my favorite number.

 

In addition to these from your list, I probably qualify due to the number of consecutive years as a Vegas "patron"... 37 consecutive years.

 

Last summer I went to Vegas with an old friend who also brought another friend along with him. I'm 29, my friend is 28 and his friend was like 22-23. On day two of the trip (of five), the new friend said to my old friend "Brian, I'm concerned about Corey, he spends a lot of money on slots machines."...he was not wrong...

RIGHT!?! For me, it's blackjack and slot machines. Another friend of mine always tells people the story of the time we were up until 7am playing backjack for 7 hours straight. We then went to bed. Around 10:15, my friend heard our hotel door close and said "where are you going?" to which I replied "I'm just getting back! I just won $400 on the Money Wheel slot machine!!!"...I literally slept from 7am to 9am, woke up wide awake (it's all the fucking oxygen) and hit the casino floor for an hour. Didn't go back to sleep again until 6am-ish the next morning. I spend 355ish days in Toronto a year, I can sleep then. When I'm in Vegas, I get the most of it

One of my favorite trips to Las Vegas was a guys trip several years ago....

At the time I was working a pretty shitty IT job, making something like $2500 a month however for this trip I ended up taking basically my entire net worth in USD around 6k. The plan was to use it to play higher stakes poker. Long story short, we get in the first night and end up going to XS at the Wynn and we all proceed to get completely smashed, I'm buying rounds of drinks for my friends and realizing it is like $50 US for double belvederes and soda but I don't even care at this point lol. We lose members of our entourage at certain points and have to rescue one of us from a group of older russian women who were "looking for husbands".

I believe it was somewhere around 4AM and we are leaving XS, really we have no clue where we are, as we were staying way up the strip at MGM. I do recall a very large black limo rolling up next to us and asking us if we want to go to a strip club, I could barely walk and the world was spinning but next thing you know we are walking into Sapphires.

Walking around with your entire bankroll/net worth which was around 6K, ( a lot of money to me, as I'm a low roller ) and going to a place like Sapphires can be very dangerous. I just didn't want to leave it in the safe and I always liked to have all my cash with me incase I needed it.....I recall we all walked in like we owned the place, got a table with bottle service and next thing you know 10's are all over us and you know where this story is going...I ended up going upstairs to the VIP for several hours and this story is getting too long so I will end it here...

I will say that no poker ended up getting played that trip and my bankroll disappeared to the benefit of some very nice girls visiting from LA
