This thread is my absolute favorite. So many good stories. As a relative Vegas virgin, it's tough for me to compete. I only made my first trip a little less than a year ago and was back again on a solo trip 10 months later. That second trip I managed to eat, drink, and gamble until 4am the first night (7am east coast time), 5:30-6am day 2, 6:30am day 3 where I only slept for 3 hours before heading out for breakfast and pre-AFC championship game beers. Got myself going on a bit of a bender, spent post-game(s) gambling until about 2:30am before hitting a SC where I didn't emerge until roughly 7:30am in the bright sunshine (which I was completely not expecting). Finally went to bed around 11:30am and I was not alone. Got a solid 5 hours sleep before showering, packing, and hitting dinner for a nice long meal (and bottle of wine) before my red eye home. Slept like a baby on that flight and spent the whole next day thinking of excuses to book a trip back.

Cool story beacon. So you know this isn't a thread that has us competing with each others storys. I started it so I can say that. You are definitely on your way to DEGENERATE status. Question, when you came to Vegas for your first time less than a year ago what was going through your mind? The sights and sounds must have been amazing that first trip ever? About how old are you?

I was just using compete as a figure of speech, certainly no need to try to one-up one another. I just enjoy reading all the stories. Believe it or not, I was in my mid-30s. Not sure how it took me so long but most of my travel was always international. My first thoughts after I landed were 'damn everything is so big'. You see the casinos and lights flying in but it's not until you start walking around that you can really appreciate the scale. I must have walked through just about every casino on the strip. The idea that so many billions of dollars have been spent on this little 5 mile stretch in the desert is mind blowing. Personally, I just love the 24/7 culture. So much going on at any time of day. I also love the variety of entertainment options from simple people watching to CDS shows to the casinos and pools, great restaurants. Lots of fun to be had for pretty much any type of person (unless they hate a good time).

I know it was a figure of speech. Great stuff. Glad you could experience and appreciate what you saw that first time. When is your next trip? Thanks for sharing.

Not sure when the next trip will be right now... Was trying for early April but my work schedule is really sucking at the moment and I'm not sure I can take any time off around then. We just have too much going on through the spring. If I can't figure something out for April/May, I'll probably wait for the fall.

You've mentioned plenty of excess, you're in! It just gets better from here!

I do wish I could go back to my youth and not experience a hangover. Midlife degeneracy is tough on the body.

talk about letting your hair down... I have a really close friend who did so many laps around the casino looking for hookers while pinned out of his mind he actually wore a grove in the carpet! I bet he walked 10 miles around that casino floor in 4 hours or so just doing
circles. One of the funniest things ever! That is a Happy Vegas DEGENERATE at least til he woke up the next day.

Lol. If he had taken that much OC he probably had performance issues and saved himself an STD haha.

Your friend is a major degenerate lol. Is this the same one that took home a man? Or is that Bronco's friend?

You are sooo right. That was Bronco's.. This guy is a 50 year old degen who wouldn't make it in to special operations.. But broncofn's friend wouldn't be able to do what my buddy did either! LOL
