As others have said, all other things being equal, Wynn/Encore is the clear winner here. I prefer the Wynn side, as it's closer to everything you will want to be close to - the walk from one side to the other is long enough to be annoying if you do it a few times per day (especially annoying at night with the nightclub crowd). I stayed at Palazzo the last time I was there, for one reason: stadium baccarat, which you won't find at Wynn. But if Wynn/Encore has the games you want to play (or you aren't going to gamble much) then definitely go there.

I just want to express my love for the Wynn/Encore scent. Haha. My wife hates it, though, and still can't stand to smell it ... six years after she had a three-day hangover there!

I haven't smelled the scent at Venetian / Palazzo the last few trips. Have they gotten rid of it? Or am I just getting used to it?

It's there but faint. Then again I could be used to it as well.

Palazzo has very nice base rooms, Kelly. I've never stayed at Encore but I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

I'd vote for encore. Pools and amenities are way better IHMO.

    Here's my take:
When i walk into Encore, I feel like i just walked into Heaven, utter luxury.
When I walk into Palazzo, I feel like I've seen this before. I'm Sicilian, so marble is all around me. :p
