the steam showers alone make it worth staying there. The one downer about the Wynn / Encore, is that even the biggest suites (not Villas or apts) don't have steam showers.

I found the mirage pool extremely quiet compared to others. I don't remember much noise at all

Thanks for all the helpful input here. She might go for the Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental. We'll see! Wish me luck :D

Shifter -- thanks for the fantastic Mansion pics. Relaxes me just looking at them.

When we've gone to the Four Seasons pool on weekdays it has been very relaxing. That's the great thing about the MB wave pool and lazy river - they are very attractive to the kids which helps keep the Four Seasons pool calm and relaxing. The Evian mists and chilled cucumber slices for your eyes add to the chill ambiance.

I suggest the Sunrise Sunset Suite for comfortable accommodations.

    Enjoy!

Our experience at the 4S is that they do very much cater to families and the pool can have more kids than you may imagine.
And often they are overseen by nannies.
Otherwise the 4S pool is a secluded oasis really, and it got a great refurbishment fairly recently.

Too bad the JW doesn't have a nice casino. That is still the most underrated pool in Vegas, and particularly when factoring in (non)crowds, killer spa.

Going to have to check out the FS pool and the JW at some point. These are great selling points.

In the end, Mrs. Ocean decided on ... the private beach at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami, of all things. I get a little glitz, she gets a quiet retreat!

I don't know how well you know Miami nor how close you'll be, but Il Gabbiano on Biscayne Blvd. is really worth a look.
Food, ambiance, service, wine list all are deserving of consideration.

I haven't been, so this might be off base, but I've read great things about the Cypress pool at Bellagio. Someone here must've been there to say whether or not it fits Danny's needs.
