I don't like the atmosphere at the tables from the dealers. I'm a loud guy that likes to have fun. They don't seem to like my kind. I've been there a half dozen times, never a positive experience.

I love the Palazzo and they treat me well. I love CUT and being close to the Wynn restaurants. The Delmonico scotch selection is out of this world. The salon baccarat room is so nice. I totally understand why people would not like the Venetian for the reasons listed above, but I rarely go over there.

If the Aria gave me similar offers I would probably give them a shot again, but it is a self-fulfilling prophesy or whatever... I don't play much where they don't give me rooms, and in return, they don't give me rooms.

I don't understand the smell issue. I even was looking for it a couple weeks ago and didn't detect any smell at all.

Really like the place, rooms are best for my needs in Vegas, casino is ok, but I like the pool situation with Venetian having more of a party vibe, Palazzo more mellow, I might do either depending on mood (and also sun various times of day).

Restaurants are awesome, and I had some great luck on VP, Craps, and Roulette here. Multiple 17s hit, including a $200 straight up at the end of a trip when I was busted to save my trip--will never forget that!

Better comps for me historically than some others, except during the "draught" when they gave nothing and I didn't play there for 5 years.

My first ever Vegas trip I stayed in the Venetian for 3 nights as part of a Vegas, Hawaii and San Fransisco multi stay trip from UK.

Was a while ago and I don't think the property is in as good shape now but was a fantastic first experience.

Love Delmonicco the waiter who served me all those years ago is now a manager there (Vincent) - and go there every year I am in Vegas.

While I loved the first trip I have never stayed again - the overall vibe of the place is not for me - but the poker room is really good.

I think some of the other places are just newer and nicer with a better vibe. With that said, I've stayed at both v and p a few times and have enjoyed my visit. The Venetian is supposed to be remodeling their rooms soon if they haven't started already.
