Sends offers thru the snail mail? Never received any snail mail. I put over 6k thru the slots over three days last week. It felt like a ton to me. It takes a long time at $1 - $2.50 a spin to get that high. It was like a flipping job. My table play isn't high enough to rate. Never had any comped rooms and never really expected any. I hope this time to get a decent offer though.

You lost $6k or your coin in was $6k? Two totally different things.

I wouldn't imagine they send much of an offer for 2k per day. Also not sure how long it took you but when I do video poker I do triple play quarters so $3.75 a spin. I can do 3k in about an hour.

Yeah, I'm not expecting a free stay just a better rate than I got last time which was abt 30% cheaper than can be found online. Play a lot of VP but 5 or sometimes 10 x $.25. Like I wrote, it took me hours to get up over 6k in.

There are times when being Platinum for the taxi line is worth more than anything else in the world.

    A thousand times over.

I've been Platinum most years, although it's helped by the fact that I usually get one or two group dinners worth of points each year, which in some years has probably been what put me over. Otherwise, I usually do about 75k points per trip, so as long as I keep up my usual Vegas pace I should stay where I am.

With that type of play....I wouldn't expect anything in terms of comps.
    Maybe some :):):)

2k in VP coin in is maybe $40 in theo.

So if they even gave you $20/night off you'd be overcomped.

I'm more of a CET player, but the logic should track fairly close. A host had said that in slots, theo was approximately 50% of Tier Credits earned. For CET, $6000 coin in is equal to 1200 tier credits. So, the theo is about $600 for 3 days. Assuming you are comped at 30%, that is $200. That really is not a lot of play when you consider it is over 3 days. That may get you a small discount, but I doubt a comped room. Also, with an ADT of $200, it would be below host level.

Sorry.....just trying to manage your expectations. Marketing offers come out months in advance, so the reality is that you would probably need to wait 3 months to see any change in offers got an increase in play. Contacting a host directly may get a more immediate response.....the worst they can say is no.

I see from Shifter's post......I am probably toooooooo generous in my theo calc.
