Just got back. They have the booze gun, of course, but they'll still make them in front of you just abt everywhere outside of Excal and maybe Luxor. Meaning if you specify the booze you want, they'll use the real bottle. Now get this - Mirage / Bellagio used to have matches right on the bartop, now they're only accessible if you're six feet tall and can reach over the counter. Zero matches at Excal and MC. Bartenders all said they hadn't had any for months. If I want to have a smoke with my drink and there are no matches anywhere, you think I'm sticking around? NOw, I'm not putting down roots at the Excal anyway, but if they're willing to ditch all the matches to save a few bucks, what else are they cutting? What did they do to the pay tables? The illusion of the win has to be there or else...
