Ask for a poolside view...not the stripview.

 

should i ask for an end or corner view???

 

I believe the ends are panoramic suites....different room type.

How are the pools there? Do they have free umbrellas and chairs?? I heard that they are charging for umbrellas..

 

Dunno about the umbrellas. Delano has their own pool that is nice and relaxing. The beach part is really cool too.

 

Delano has absolutely no breeze as it's enclosed, like an oven. I stay at Delano and am just checking out in 15 minutes. I couldn't lay at Delano yesterday..waaay too hot. DJ on the weekends when it gets busier. Kids are invited in the Delano pool but so far haven't had any Marco Polo. I think the parents would get the evil eye, as there's plenty of room on the beach for screamers. I like the East Lagoon Pool.

I prefer the pool view as well and I usually get a V suite (end suite, the 816 or 916 ending numbers). Once a year when I bring my kids etal I ask for an H suite (used to be called when it was THE HOTEL.) Penthouse level 1642 sq ft just so they have somewhere extra to party. My fav restaurant is Wolfgang Puck's Lupo. Decent Italian food that doesn't break the bank. Also RM, someone mentioned earlier. Sustainable seafood. The umbrellas on the beach are chargeable, as is some seating. If you are looking for shade, not much but West Lagoon pool has some. South Lagoon pool became Daylight Beach club couple years back. (a scorcher out by the parking lot). Good luck. I still prefer Delano over M Bay tower. Rarely do you have to wait for an elevator. (OR, if you like the MB side, levels 60-62 are good, and you get access to the Penthouse Lounge)
