The thing that pisses me off is when people mock my Vegas obsession with the phrase go and see something new, cultural "expand your horizons". It's got to the point I'm trying to not talk about my Vegas trips now as I'm sick of the judgement.

 

I no longer "check in" on fb, to the airport I'm leaving out of. I'm down the last so many years about 8-10 times a year and I started to get "What Again? Weren't you just there last month?" ....I probably only post maybe two trips a year now. Saves explaining.

 

I get this all the time. "don;t you want to go somewhere different?"

no...no I don't

 

My baseball umpire assignor/ best friend says it best. "Jesus Christ, again? Vegas encapsulates you!" Yep, pretty much.

We only go about once a year but I explain it like this. Vegas can be whatever you want it to be. You want to party? No problem. You want to chill by a pool? No problem. You want to eat awesome food? No problem. You want to hike or be outdoors. You can do it. You want to go for broke and gamble your life savings. No problem. You can do whatever you like. All in one place. That seems to work for me.
