I have a Go Bag packed at all times. I can be out the door in 10 seconds flat!

Just kidding obviously, but I can pack pretty damn fast. 20 minutes maybe? If I were in driving distance and doing weekend trips I'd say five minutes. Takes a little more planning for a 4-5 day trip across the country. As someone else mentioned though, as long as I have my wallet and cell phone, everything else can be had in Vegas.

Most of the responses with quick pack times are from men. What do the ladies say?

This thread topic reminded me of this video I saw recently.

I never pack. It takes me a couple of minutes to lug the bags to the car. Not sure how long my wife actually takes. I think that it starts when she is doing laundry for the last time before the trip. Whatever is needed for the trip goes in the suitcase instead of the dressers. Once the socks, undies, pj's, shorts, fat guy sweat rags, etc are on the bottom, whatever stays on hangers is placed on top and folded up as required.

10 minutes and I have to pack work/non work clothes. Wife takes about 30 seconds. Her idea of packing is throwing everything on the bed and walking off. My job is to pick everything up and throw it in the suitcase. She always wonders why its wrinkled and mine isn't. Because I took just as much time as you did to put it in the bag.

As long as everything is laundered and clean already, 10 minutes is about right.

About 6 years ago I was living with a coworker in New Mexico. We had the same schedule and were home after work on our Friday watching Vegas Vacation. I jokingly said "we should go to Vegas". He said "I'll drive if you pay for the room". Done. I had free rooms. We were out the door within 15 mins and lived about 9 hours away.
That said, it usually takes me about an hour to pack for a normal Vegas trip. I distracted easily though.

Yes that is me too. Although I am getting better and downsizing. But it still takes me a couple of hours and I always forget something,

Fifteen minutes to pack, six months to save up the bankroll.

Fastest I ever packed was in ZERO time. Literally left while partying on the boat at the lake. Wife drove my friend and me straight to the airport in our wet swim shorts. Four hours later we were both in Vegas with nothing but the clothes on our backs and wallets (and flip flops.)
Don't know how I could do it any faster.

I have to pack almost every week, so I get lots of practice. My goals are to pack under 5 min, fold as little as possible, set myself up to not require ironin. My system centers on the use of a Garment Bag. Grab hangers from closet, hang in bag. Under 5 minutes. Unpacking is even quicker, as I leave all non hanging stuff in the bag.

And when I've done it right, most of the shirts are in their own dry-cleaner film, which means No Ironing.

PAcking when leaving Vegas is a different story: just jam it all in the suitcase in 30 seconds.
