I had to actually go to a clinic in Vegas. I knew something was slightly askew prior to the trip but I thought I could play through and it would go away. I woke up one morning at the Mirage and I could barely role over. I had a sore on my stomach about the size of a dime. Had to go to two clinics and wait a couple hours at the second one as apparently they serve foreigners last!! That was kinda fucking ridiculous as I watched tons of people get to a doctor when they arrived well after me. Doc took one look and said "Staph Infection" here's the pills, that will be $200 for antibiotics. Fuck big pharmacy/medical!!! ANyways he simply said take these and no drinking. I met him half way on that one as I still had two days in Vegas.

PS The clinic on Harmon takes CASH only!. Or at least back then they did. They would not take Visa! WTF? Of course this was about 10 years ago and things may have changed. I actually didn't even have cash on me so we had to drive to another clinic somewhere else.

And yes my insurance plan from work reimbursed me for the visit and pills so it cost me nothing other than precious Vegas time!

In more than 100 trips to Vegas I think I have only been sick 3-4 times at the most. That's not too bad. But Five Hour Energy, ephedrine, and screwdrivers will get you through it!!!

My wife injured her knee walking through Valley of Fire. But we looked at our insurance on-line and found a clinic that was covered, and we were able to get her Rx from a Walgreens that has her information.

On my trip back in January, I got sick on the plane heading out. First the plane was delayed, and about halfway through the trip I felt nauseous. Somehow I managed to hold down everything until I got off the plane, but I was sweating and flushed. I probably looked like an ebola victim. I got in and ended up sleeping for 18 out of the next 24 hours. Good times!
