    How do you play?

There are so many ways and styles I'm always interested to see how each individual plays.

I will play pass line with full odds (3-4-5x) or if at 10x or higher table and I'm just starting out and getting a feel for the table and shooters I will stay on the 3-4-5x track until it warms up and/or I shoot.

I'm fairly aggressive with place bets but when beginning a session I stick to 6 and 8 and either 5 or 9.

Always a horn hi yo on the come out and I always play the fire or A/S/T

Once the table gets cooking I'll place all the way across and press aggressively. I've learned my lesson about being tentative on hot tables. Granted this was when I was new to the game and didn't quite understand it yet but I've left a lot of money out there by not capitalizing on heaters.

Hardways will be played when they're the point or if I'm up I will play them all. Lately some big hardways hits have helped me stay afloat while waiting for the variance to work its way back to the good.

I always say I'm gonna try and come bet but never do. I've never played the don't or a lay bet.

I play pretty aggressively. I start at $100 pass, full odds, always ATS with either $25 or $100 across. I place bet across starting at $900, depending on point. Then I full press my first 2-3 hits on each # on the outside 4-5-9-10. I start the 6/8 at $300, then go $450 / $600 / $900, etc. I am going for the hot roll or big win right out of the gate. Then once my initial place bets hit 2-3 times on each point, I will start a push/pull where I don't do a full press each time. I am always adding to each hit, I never call same bet. It is a risky way to do it, as PSO, or point - one or two rolls costs you pretty quickly.

I've done that a couple times with loading up right out of the gates and looking for a hot run right away. No same bets and full odds and a quarter each on hardways.

Or sometimes when feeling really lucky (or drunk) I'll go to a $25 table and play $50 pass with full odds and $320 across. Nailing a hot roll on a table like that is really fun. Of the four times I've done this I've hit one hot roll and three stinkers.

Sometimes I don't feel like grinding out the ebb and flows and want to hit quick.

I'm a bit of a robot when I play craps. But I've been warming up over the years. I always remember the first heater I ever went on -- about 40 minutes of rolling points left and right. Too bad I was just leaving $10 on the pass line with no odds! I had no idea what I was doing. But, even now, I stick to the pass or don't pass, max odds, and press 6 and 8. That's it. Systematic and kind of boring, I guess. But I still like it.

Craps is a great ride. I don't play often because I'm a heavy presser, usually too heavy. I don't walk away from the table a winner unless someone has a spectacular roll. I like to play the pass with a new come bet on every roll. I'll full press after a hit, collect, then full press again, collect, etc. I'll also heavily bet the hard ways if I'm winning and throw some hi/low parlays out there at times. The game is great. The feeling of being at a hot table during a hot roll will stick with you for a long time.

I'm am a very conservative player. I grind the table, and do better than most on a choppy table. Unfortunately, I win less on a bigger roll, than my full odds counterparts.

I basically play the pass line with $20. After a point is established, I do not put out a odds bet out immediately. I then play the come bet for double my pass line (40) wager. This is a hedge in case of the immediate 7 out, and looking for a 11.

After my 2 points are set I put 1x -2x odds on my pass and come bets depending on the number (only 1x on 4/10). If both my numbers are 6&8 both will always have 2x odds.

If neither of my numbers are 6&8, i will pick one of them as a $24 place bet. Once a pass or come bet is won I repeat, but bump my pass or come up a dime. I always take down my odds on my new come roll which is always double my other bet still out.

My whole strategy is based on catching 7 and 11 occasionally on the come out rolls and praying for now crap rolls.

I will sometimes play higher odds when i am winning but never unless i am wagering with house money.

I only play the hard ways when rolling the dice myself.

My strategy usually gets me a higher rating than the player who plays the pass at minimum with full odds.

Buying usually with $500 to start.

I play the don't pass at 2 units. I will then put one unit on each the 6 and 8 (or what ever i need to make the math work 12 instead of 10). As soon as 6 or 8 hit i take the place bets off. If shooter rolls about 5 or so times, I will take the 6 and 8 off.

Am I foolish for placing the 6 and 8 and playing the don't?

I don't play the don't so I've never worked out the numbers on playing it certain ways

There was a dude at the local place last week who was playing the don't with odds but he was also placing 5-6-8-9 for $220. He was stackin chips for a long while and then started to lose.

One of the coolest things about craps is you can have a table filled with all walks of life and a hot roll or overall hot table will make everyone seem like long time friends.

I've been on a table for several long rolls. But I cannot wait for the day the true heater comes along. If I happen to be lucky enough to be a part of an hour and a half to two hour roll I can't even begin to describe the party that will happen after I color up

I start with a minimum pass line bet with 2x odds and add two minimum come bets with 2x odds. I always try to keep three numbers working. If the table heats up I will bump up the odds bets to the (typical) 3x,4x,5x. The only time I get slightly more aggressive is on pass line winners, most of the time I keep the come bets working on the new come out roll. On a really good roll I might add a third come bet. And I usually take a small shot at the Fire or ATS bet.

Tried playing the dark side once - three of my buddies went on back-to-back-to-back heaters and crushed me - haven't been back since.
