So, this may be the shortest trip report ever. I flew in four hours ago for about 18 hours. Staying RFB in an Encore Tower King (my request not to stay in Parlor). Plane arrived 30 minutes early, but then had to wait for the other plane to leave the gate, so sat on the tarmac for at least 20 painful minutes. Wait for bags (sneaking into Vegas at the end of a business trip) and off to rental car shuttle. No issues getting rental car. I take I-15 to Spring Mtn Rd and into Encore self-park. Get checked in with no issues. Almost top floor, strip view.

Famished, I go in search of a restaurant. I head towards SW and then decide I don't want to walk that far and decide to hit Sinatra's. I've been wanting to go there anyway since Packer is always raving about it. I (of course) order the veal parm (see Packer's trip reports for photos), clams and spaghetti, asparagus, Yukon gold potatoes, and wild mushrooms. Everything was very good. The bread basket was underwhelming. Total was around $160 plus tip.

Go to Encore high limit. There is one guy playing baccarat, but other than that no other players. My game is BJ. Sit down at a $100-$10,000 shoe game. S17. Pull $5k marker. Win first hand for $400. Lose next 3 or 4 hands. I was down to my last $2k and have a $1600 bet and get a double hand. I have them mark another $1600. Win that double and pay that marker back. Then go on a pretty good streak, with a few losses and pushes sprinkled in. Pay off the $5k marker, and keep winning for the most part. I get up to about $25k, and bet $8k. I get an 11 against an Ace. I double down and get an Ace. Dealer has an 18 and wins my $16k pivotal hand bet.

Well, it only got better from there. I won a few more hands better $6k to $8k average. This is the first shoe still. Then, the dealer change occurs. I tell them I know what they are doing and color up without playing another hand. $40,900. I played for about 15 to 20 minutes.

I asked what my avg bet was and she said she was going to have to figure it out, but probably $6k to $7k. I was too embarrassed to ask how long I played since it was so short.

So, here is the question, do I lock in the win after 15 minutes of action and see if my host charges me for the room and meal(s)? (I'm supposed to be RFB, but I saw somewhere on the check in screen that it said "conditional comp"). My last two trips have been five figure wins.

If you lock the winnings up because you are happy to walk, then pay for the room and all the food and limo. It's chump change to the win. This is where comps clouds judgement, in my opinion.

I agree. I'm going to pay for their room and food with their own money if they ask me to. And I'll be happy to do it. That's if I stay off the tables. I just deposited the chips with the cage.

Ask for Susan, tell her Glen sent you. Remind her of all her promises to me. Wynn sucks. Walk, short wins anywhere are ez, longer play they always prevail, especially if that happened off the bat.

They probably have a new VooDoo team employed anyways.
