Soon there will just be a drop box at the door like some churches where you leave your money and walk around looking at things.

I'd hate to lose in-person table games. Dealer interaction is one of my favorite parts of gambling.

And that is the biggest change that has been made across all casinos in recent years.

No loyalty for past play, it's all about what are you doing for me now.

Yeah, I had one player admit when i was playing golf with him last trip that it was only a matter of time until the casino host caught up to him about not playing to his old levels. He is / was still soaking up the comps based on him playing to and losing his $250k line every trip, and he admitted that his last few trips he limited his losses to $50k, then quit playing for the trip.

The casinos aren't stupid, and especially with their current "profits at all cost" philosophies, they are definitely going to take the "show me" approach to players comp levels if the play just isn't there on consecutive trips.

Just have to face the fact that the good 'old days are coming to an end..............................

Has Wynn always been like this? I know that a lot of people love him because he opened the Mirage and pretty much started the megaresort trend, but when I read anything where he's talking to the press it just seems like he has contempt for his customers. Shitty odds on craps, hates clubs but milks the crap out of them, won't comp drinks at VP bars.

The only thing i liked about the linked post was his comment about not having a lot of slot machines. I've never understood why big casinos need so many slot machines. I've always just assumed that slot machines are cheap, and it's a giant disaster if I have $600 I want to lose playing WOF and they don't have a machine for me to play.
