    Hi All,

Early December I have my trip booked hotels and flights...

I have 3 nights comped at Aria and 2 additional nights at $69 per night.(that includes a Friday night too).... They add $100 resort credit.....
Then I move to Golden Nugget for 4 nights comped and $125 credit per day for food etc......

I now have received an offer from Mirage for 2 comped nights and $100 food credit.....I can do both MLife offers as they have 4 days in between them....

That would make 11 nights in Vegas if I accept the Mirage offer, vs 9 nights if I decline The mirage offer...If I stay the 2 additional nights at Mirage there is basically no additional cost for my trip..

I checked with SWA and I can change my return home date and the current price is only $18 more than I paid for my original ticket..

I'm a widower and a big part of the reason that I visit Vegas is to be where my wife and I had a lot of great times together. I do also like to gamble and drink and eat..... With the holiday season in December, I need to be around lots of people and Vegas has lots of people..

So,,,,,,,,,,,, would you stay the two extra nights at the Mirage with really no additional costs, or stay with the original 9 day trip....?
    Thanks..

Isn't this a bit like asking whether you should book three of PT's "friends" instead of two?

No, nothing insider. Standard reference to our most colorful poster, PayTriple.

I have it on good authority there's usually something insider.

    Often vegetables, apparently.

Well, you'd still have the gambling costs of the extra days. If you are maintaining your rating that could be substantial.

As for whether to do it, my longest trip was 9 nights, and that featured a lot of time golfing and watching curling events, and still felt like rather a lot.

So it really depends on you. The downside of more nights is potential burnout, and losing the ability to "lock in" a trip win (without tanking future offers anyway). If those aren't concerns for you, go for it.

    Thanks,,,,,

I've done 10 to 12 days solo before. Hot weather makes that a little more of a grind, but this trip will be in December, so much cooler.

I can go a day or two or three during a trip and not gamble, but have drinks and people watch see shows in the afternoon and night.. I like the type of places that also have outside bars...Makes for good people watching...I've read that the new Beer Haus between NY NY and Monte Carlo has a huge outdoor venue with beer service and music..

I probably will get burned out a little, but I'm at the stage now where every Vegas trip may be my last, I hope not, but we never know...
    Thanks again...
