Nominees for worst smelling hotel/casino in Downtown? Just returned from a four day trip with two nights downtown and hit everything except MSS and the Cal. The smells ... I may have to do downtown first and the strip second next time.

I remember Four Queens having a physically-palpable haze of smoke to walk through, but honestly, nothing smells worse to me than Excalibur.

I've been to El Cortez a few times just to gamble and the funky perfume smell is kind of gross. I've heard that they pipe the smell into the air system..

The Cal, along with being so dark, also had a stale smell to it...

I don't really notice much difference in the downtown casinos but Circus Circus smells like a urinal! Lol

I don't know about DT but LINQ used to smell like pot to me. I'll let you choose whether the smell of that is good or bad.

Monte Carlo, followed by CC, then everything Downtown save GN. Yeah, i'm a snob.

My husband just reminded me that the first time we went to the D he exclaimed, "it smells like someone's smoking crack in here!" The next day we went back and we realized it was just the way it smelled all the time. And that's one of the nicer places. Can't beat the table limits on a weekend, though. $5 and $10 tables everywhere.

Oh, good call. Monte Carlo is awful. Not that it's the nicest property on the Strip, but it's probably got the worst luxury-to-smell ratio in town. At least when you walked into, say, the Las Vegas Club, you knew what you were in for.

I think every hotel I've stayed in Ive smelled pot in the hallways going to my room. Lol Went to a Whiskey Tasting at GN last trip and it wasn't bad at all but I didn't have a room there. I won on the slots too with many machines having lower max bets. Whatever fragrance they pump into some of the casinos on strip though is almost overwhelming.
